Course Type – Bachelor Degree.
Duration – 4 years + 6 months internship

Eligibility –10+2 from the CBSE/ICSE/ State boards or intermediate or pre university examination (2 years) or any other examination recognized and equivalent to any of the above, with at least 50% marks in aggregate or in PCB.

ABOUT THE COURSE

Physiotherapy is a discipline of science concerned with the treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of physically handicapped individuals. Physiotherapy is regarded as an old science that utilises physical activities to heal individuals. Physiotherapy courses is part of paramedical science concerned with the functioning of the body’s numerous neuromuscular, skeletal, and other systems. In cases of movement dysfunction, bodily malfunction, physical problem, handicap, healing and recovery from any neurological condition, as well as after surgical treatment therapy for faster recovery, physiotherapy courses involves evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, advice, and training.

Human anatomy, human physiology, general, social and clinical psychology, biochemistry, basic principles in physiotherapy, yoga and massage, electrotherapy and actinotherapy, biomechanics and kinesiology, pathology and microbiology, pharmacology, clinical orthopaedics, clinical neurology and psychiatry, clinical cardiothoracic conditions, general medicine, skin, paediatrics, general surgery, OBG, gynaecology, ENT, plastic surgery, disability prevention and rehabilitation, P.T. in orthopaedics, P.T. in neurology, P.T. in cardiothoracic conditions, P.T. in general medicine and surgery, research methodology; computers and biostatistics, Clinical dissertation and project submission.
